QualiSystems Earns Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership Award

By Maurice Nagle June 02, 2015

Awards exist to applaud exemplary achievement and innovation. In recent years, we have seen firms learn how to optimize NFV and SDN deployments to what today can be referred to as best practice. These adolescent technologies are young but maturing, and with this maturation process be prepared to witness a continual evolution is the virtualized space.

Today Frost & Sullivan awarded QualiSystems the Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership Award. While the industry is experiencing the expected growing pains of deployment and development, QualiSystems is quickly becoming a leader in the provision of cloud management platforms.

“This award comes at a time when QualiSystems has established key industry partnerships around SDN/NFV testing and DevOps. Our customers demonstrate how we achieve automated, cloud-enabled DevOps-type practices in SDN and NFV testing,” said Lior Koriat, chief executive officer at QualiSystems. “For example, Cisco DevNet is a public cloud based on QualiSystems’ CloudShell platform that offers ISVs access to complex network topologies of Cisco hardware and software products for the purposes of API development and certification testing.”

Basic elements explored before bestowing the award are competition, the provider’s portfolio, customer experience and how they differentiate from the competition. Frost & Sullivan used a customized Decision Support Scorecard, which allowed for measurement across business performance categories, industry benchmarks and assign weighted rankings to each provider.

“QualiSystems has made significant inroads in the SDN/NFV market as an IT automation software provider by bringing new thought leadership insights into how automation and DevOps are the necessary companion to SDN and NFV network transformation, through the most extensive partnerships in the market with companies such as IXIA, Cisco, OOL, WWT and QualiTest,” said Mariano Kimbara, Frost & Sullivan industry analyst.

As the benefits of virtualized and software defined solutions have become a growing list, innovation and development is fighting to meet the growing demand. Only time will tell what the market will look like in another five years, but it would appear that if QualiSystems keeps the eye on the prize, and continues to aid companies in reducing cost, waste and time to market they should be sitting pretty.
