QualiSystems, Empowerd Networks Team Up to Test Automation and NFV Solutions

By Matt Paulson October 22, 2014

Automation solutions expert QualiSystems made the official announcement this Tuesday that it would be forming a partnership with Empowered Networks, a Canadian Systems Integrator that develops network services for data centers and laboratories across the country. With the combined resources the companies have to offer, they will be able to extend the options that businesses have for high-quality DevOps and other network services, including Software Defined Services (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

With over 16 years of experience and established prior customers, Empowered is able to expand its solutions beyond the borders of Canada. The company's CloudShell infrastructure orchestration solution and the TestShell automation testing solution are expected to become major selling points for the larger global market, as they allow IT teams to create and test network environments before implementing them in the workplace. Automation platforms greatly reduce time spent on trivial network tasks in most IT environments, which allows operators to apply greater focus on more complex tasks.

CloudShell is specifically geared towards the integration of self-service and automation platforms across multiple environments, including cloud, virtual and even physical infrastructures. To help reduce time to market delays, TestShell allows test teams to more efficiently test networks before full installation to ensure that it will work right the first time and reduce the need for as many QA cycles.

“Empowered combines industry0leading products with our technical, engineering and consulting expertise to provide the solutions our customers need,” stated Empowered Networks CEO Brian Hepburn. “QualiSystems' broad portfolio of orchestration and automation solutions provides the tools our customers need to design and deploy complex cloud, SDN and NFV evironments with greater productivity, reduced cycle times and improved returns on their investments in lab and testing infrastructure.”
