Tango Telecom Wins Best Policy-Based Data Analytics Award

By Rory Lidstone April 08, 2016

Tango Telecom is a major provider of data monetization solutions for evolving networks that has a history of pushing those solutions to their utmost in order to better serve its customers. The company’s Diameter Signaling Controller, for example, has managed to set unprecedented performance figures in the past. As such, it’s not too surprising that Tango’s Real-time Engagement Solution was awarded the Best Policy-Based Data Analytics Implementation at the 2016 Policy Control Awards.

Presented at this year’s Informa Telecoms & Media 6th Annual Policy Control Event, this award was granted to Tango’s solution because the judges recognized the proven power of the Real-time Engagement Solution. In particular, it was recognized for its ability to maximize subscriber lifetime value, build lasting subscriber relationships, nurture and grow communities, and shape and empower brand ambassadors.

Tango Telecom’s Real-time Engagement Solution was shortlisted for another category aside from Best Policy-Based Data Analytics Implementation: Most Innovative Policy-Enabled Project or Application.

The Tango Telecom Real-time Engagement Solution powers real-time interactions with subscribers at every touch point, by leveraging the power of big data beyond basic analysis methods. In other words, Tango Telecom’s solution can recommend relevant data plans and services in response to real-time subscriber actions, profile information and preferences by using integrated, context-aware information collected on a subscriber by subscriber basis.

The bottom line is that the Real-time Engagement Solution is able to provide mobile operators with a real-time promotion tool with the highest possible uptake, while also ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The solution is a key component of the Tango Data Retail Engine (Tango DRE) that is used by Tier 1 operators the world over to drive service innovation and velocity. Some noteworthy operators currently leveraging Tango Telecom’s solutions include the Telenor Group, América Móvil and the Axiata Group. In total, Tango supports over 140 live systems that serve 700 million subscribers in 43 countries.
