service, continues to increase Internet speeds up to 50 Megabits per
second (Mbps) by expanding its Long Term Evolution (LTE) coverage area
in more than 20 small-to-mid-sized markets. In doing so, rural and
suburban subscribers can receive faster access to data, streaming,
shopping and other on-line activities.

Usually associated with mobile phone networks, LTE technology is the
worldwide standard in wireless connectivity. When used in a fixed
wireless environment, LTE will initially provide twice the speed and
ultimately more than four times the speed of previous operating

digital phone service to permanent structures (home and businesses)
using wireless spectrum (airwaves) - not fiber, cable or satellite
