(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The government of Jordan and Microsoft have entered into a deal that allows for the provision of Microsoft software licences for government institutions through its local agent Network Exchange Technology Company (NEXT).
As per this deal, government institutions will be getting software licenses as and when required.
Before signing of the deal, a national committee reviewed the strategic deal with Microsoft and had also worked out the required tender documents to attract proposals from local agents designated by Microsoft with capacity to implement the agreement.
At present, the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology is working with Microsoft towards implementation of several projects, which should support the e-Government Program and different public sector organizations.
