Speech Industry Awards in its Fall 2014 issue. The 8th annual
Speech Industry Awards recognize the creativity and notable achievements
of vendors, client companies, and individuals over the past year.

Industry Awards, which recognize key influencers (Luminaries), major
innovators (Star Performers), and impressive deployments (Implementation
This year, Speech Technology magazine made some changes to its
annual awards issue. To better cover the full range of market
developments, we replaced our Market Leader Awards with our newly
expanded Star Performer Awards, which recognize 15 of this year's
biggest speech technology innovators. This change enables us to more
deeply examine the industry's biggest trends, while also letting us
recognize important accomplishments from smaller, niche companies.
There were some significant developments over the past year in mobile
authentication, intelligent assistants, visual IVR, wearable devices,
natural language, analytics, and mobile voice search. The 2014 Speech
Industry Awards recognize many of these developments.
