BRIEF: Leadership Greater Chicago names new CEO [Chicago Tribune :: ]
(Chicago Tribune (IL) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) April 16--Former Girl Scouts executive Maria Wynne has been named the new chief executive of nonprofit civic leadership group Leadership Greater Chicago.
As CEO of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, Wynne merged seven Girl Scout groups into the single largest council in the country. Prior to that, she worked at Microsoft and Xerox, according to a media release.
She will replace retiring executive director David DeCoursey on June 1.
