Fireman's Fund Insurance Company is pleased to announce the appointment
of Mike Midgley, JD, MPH, RN, CPHRM, FASHRM to senior product director
for healthcare professional liability.
With over 20 years of health care and risk management experience,
Midgley will be responsible for overseeing the company's professional
liability and related insurance products for Healthcare accounts,
including Allied Professionals, Medical Facilities and Senior Living
As a lawyer, professional risk manager, and nurse, Midgley has
significant insurance and healthcare industry experience, including
underwriting, compliance, product management, risk management and
nursing roles. He most recently worked in compliance, product
development and risk management for ten years at American International
Group, Inc. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at CNA HealthPro,
Elmhurst Hospital Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He
will be located in the New York office.
Midgley holds a juris doctor from Fordham University Law School, master
of public health from the Universit of Medicine & Dentistry of New
Jersey, and bachelor of science from Rutgers, College of Nursing.
