As millions of Americans prepare their brackets for the insanity of
March basketball, D-Link
today launched a competition for all tech-loving geeks - Gadget
Madness 2014. D-Link's Gadget Madness features a competition of old
versus new technology and invites participants to complete a bracket for
a chance to win an Xbox One with the NBA 2K Game, a D-Link®
Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router (DIR-868L) or a D-Link
Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera (DCS-5020L).
"Technology has fundamentally changed the way we live, communicate and
create," said Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing, D-Link
Systems, Inc. "In the spirit of everyone's favorite bracket-busting
March tourney and the excitement of predicting the winning teams, we're
excited to host a fun online event tat celebrates the history - and
future - of revolutionary technology with Gadget Madness 2014."
The Gadget Madness bracket consists of the world's most life-changing
tech and gadgets, and participants are challenged to score as closely as
possible to the D-Link Master Bracket. The madness begins today and
entries will be accepted until Tuesday, March 25, at which point the
contest will be locked and the results will start to be revealed. The
Gadget Madness winner will be announced on Monday, April 7. Contestants
can enter their brackets and check results at www.dlink.com/gadgetmadness.
Plus, as an added bonus for participating, D-Link has partnered with Newegg
to offer up a $5, $10 or $20 instant rebate for a Wi-Fi
Extender (DAP-1320), Pan/Tilt
Camera (DCS-5010L) or 11ac
Router (DIR-860L), respectively.
