Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®)
(NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential
mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced that it will
exhibit innovative products from its industry-leading portfolio at Electronica
China 2014, to be held March 18-20 in Shanghai. The IDT booth will
be located in hall W1, stand 1238.
IDT will demonstrate innovative products from its wireless
integrity, and Serial
RapidIO portfolios. IDT's award-winning wireless power showcase
includes magnetic inductance-based receiver and transmitter solutions
that comply with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi and Power
Matters Alliance (PMA) standards. The IDTP9023
is the industry's first dual-mode WPC 1.1 and PMA 1.1 wireless power
receiver, enabling OEMs to use a single wireless power receiver IC to
charge from either a Qi- or PMA-compliant transmitter. The high-level of
integration significantly reduces board area, cost, and component count
to deliver superior wireless charging products in convenient and
attractive form factors.
Also on display is the industry's first 16-lane PCI Express®
3.0 signal-conditioning retimer for improving performance and
reliability in PCIe®-based systems by restoring signal
quality across long or noisy connections. The IDT 89HT0832P is a
32-channel (16-lane) retimer capable of 8 Gbps-per-channel transfers,
providing a total of 256 Gbps of communication bandwidth for
In addition, IDT will demonstrate select products from its RapidIO for
wireless and data center solutions. The CPS-1848
is a 48-lane switch featuring 20 Gbps of bandwidth per link, 100 ns cut
through latency, and 240 Gbps of non-blocking switch performance.
RapidIO offers important performance, reliability, and power advantages,
making it ideal for use in large processor clusters or backplanes. IDT's
RapidIO switches are used to connect virtually 100 percent of all 4G/LTE
and 60 percent of new 3G baseband systems worldwide.
Alongside IDT's RapidIO switches will be the industry's first PCI
Express Gen2 to Serial RapidIO (S-RIO) Gen2 protocol conversion bridge,
which allows OEMs to deploy large Intel-based processing clusters with
the low latency and scalability of RapidIO networks. The IDT Tsi721
is a 16 Gbps PCIe Gen2 to 16 Gbps RapidIO Gen2 bridge that translates
the PCIe protocol to RapidIO, and vice versa. It is ideal for
high-performance analytics functions in computing applications and data
centers, as well as mobile edge computing colocation with C-RAN base
