Mobile World Congress - SOASTA,

page load time data aggregated by mPulse,
SOASTA's award winning Real User Monitoring (RUM) solution. Results show
that iOS is still the most widely used mobile operating system for Web
browsing and Safari the most popular mobile browser.
In total, SOASTA analysts released 2,673,573 hours worth of data-the
equivalent of 305 years of time users spent waiting on load pages in the
United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. The data shows that
iOS is the most widely used mobile Web browsing operating system in all
five regions, but most prevalent in the United Kingdom, at 69% and least
in Germany at 58%. The overwhelming majority of iOS page loads, from 95%
o 97% depending on the region, were made using Safari, the default iOS
browser, vs. Chrome Mobile iOS, the leading third party iOS browser.
France and Spain, at just five percent of pages loaded, were the top
users of Chrome Mobile iOS.
