today announced a collaboration with VMware to enable the rapid
deployment of its Mobile Content Cloud™ solution for Network Functions
Affirmed Networks will use VMware vSphere® and VMware vCloud® management
framework for automated provisioning and distribution of its virtualized
packet and control plane processing in a software-defined data center.
Affirmed Networks' next-generation core network features, using VMware's
capacity management capabilities, will empower mobile operators to lower
capital and operational expenditures, with greater efficiency for
deploying revenue-generation services and applications.
