FPL and SMUD join Silver Spring customer Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E),

Electric Institute with their 2013 Edison Award, the electric power
industry's most prestigious honor. Through October of 2013, OG&E's Smart
Hours program has enrolled more than 80,000 customers, achieved 123

of about $150 per participating residential custoer.
FPL's 'Reaping the Benefits of the Smart Grid' program connected more
than 4.5 million smart meters and 10,000 intelligent devices ahead of
schedule, achieved $3.4 million in productivity savings and an average
annual reduction of 4.3 million minutes of power interruptions, and made
it possible for FPL to give its customers more control over their energy
usage while providing more than 99.98 percent service reliability.
GM and CEO John Di Stasio leads the Sacramento Municipal Utility
District, the nation's sixth largest municipally owned electric utility.
SMUD's SmartSacramento Project involves system-wide Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMI) integrated with existing enterprise and IT systems,
