(Optician (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CooperVision has appointed two new European marketing heads at its UK-based European headquarters to provide product-focused support to practitioners Europe-wide.
Rob Healey, CooperVision’s marketing manager for the UK and Ireland for the past three years, will now be responsible for the reusable segment, while Liz Graham will look after the daily disposable category.
Healey has over 15 years of marketing experience and 10 years of managing large teams. He will now support what CooperVision described as the significant growth of its reusable portfolio, in particular Biofinity and Avaira’s Aquaform Comfort Science. ‘As the CooperVision range of products expands I aim to enhance the partnerships we currently have with our practitioners in order to further exchange information, provide patient insights and deliver impactful marketing and promotional campaigns,’ said Healey.
Graham brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience working in consumer healthcare with Glaxo SmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola and Britvic. In her new role she will be leading the development and growth of daily disposable lenses across Europe. The company added that she would concentrate on ensuring practitioners and their patients could enjoy the benefits of its latest product innovation MyDay, which was gaining significant momentum.
