Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has successfully implemented its Accenture CAS
Retail Execution software at Reemtsma Cigarettenfabrik GmbH, one of
Europe's largest tobacco and cigarette producers and a subsidiary of
Imperial Tobacco. The implementation will help Reemtsma improve the
efficiency of its sales operations, including helping to increase
product availability on the shelf.
Under the agreement signed in September 2012, Accenture upgraded
Reemtsma's retail execution software to Accenture CAS Version 9 Service
Release 1, and rolled out the solution across Reemtsma's organization.
The software provides Reemtsma with a fully integrated solution on one
platform, giving a clearer, more detailed view of key aspects of its
performance in stores, such as lost revenue due to out- of-stock
products. Additionally, the software replaces Reemtsma's home-grown,
stand-alone call center solution with one that is integrated with all of
the company's sales functions.
The implementation of the Accenture CAS software provides more than 180
field sales, call center and back-office users with access to important
customer and product information when they need it.
