Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, announced today that Jared
G. Jensen has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a partner in
its Private Equity Practice. Jensen joins Goodwin from Amazon.com where
he was Senior Corporate Counsel.
At Goodwin, Jensen will represent private equity firms, companies and

emphasis on the technology sector. This work will include take-private
transactions, leveraged acquisitions of private and public companies,
cross-border acquisitions, equity restructurings and minority
investments in growth companies.
"Jared's private equity market knowledge and insight, coupled with his
experience in taking technology companies private, make him an
exceptional addition to our team," said John
LeClaire, chair of Goodwin's Private Equity Practice. "Jared will
play a vital role in delivering valuable client service, particularly as
we continue advising clients in the growing middle-market investment and
growth equity sectors."
Prior to Amazon, Jensen was a partner with Kirkland & Ellis, and,
previously, was an attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Jensen
received his J.D. from Harvard Law School where he was senior editor of
the International Law Journal; he received his B.A. from Brigham
