LG Announces The Worlds Smallest Wireless Charger at Mobile World Congress
(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) "Wireless charging is the holy grail of smartphone user convenience," Consumer electronics giant LG, has today announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) hosted in Barcelona, WCP-300 the world's smallest wireless charger measuring in at just 6.9cm in diameter a truly tiny device for mobile lovers.
The WCP-300 wireless charger has been designed with portability, user convenience and performance allowing anyone with a Qi standard smartphone the ability to effortlessly charge their battery. The new model is compatible with a standard 5-pin micro-USB charger, providing the highest level of charging performance.
The WCP-300 charger employs electromagnetic induction technology and is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. Electromagnetic induction produces a magnetic field that in turn generates an electric current to charge the batteries in devices placed on the charging pad. Certification ensures that the WCP-300 is compatible with all smartphones that support the Qi standard.
