Telecom Egypt mustn't allowed to offer mobile services twice; Mobinil [Arab Finance (Egypt)]

(Arab Finance (Egypt) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Arab Finance EMOB ETEL : Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) – ( ) objected that Telecom Egypt (TE) - ( ) is keeping its stake in Vodafone along with offering mobile services, Alborsa newspaper reported. Such move comes as a new escalation for the ongoing dispute between National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and mobile operators after granting TE mobile services license with controlling 45 % stake in Vodafone.  Ashraf Halim, Vice President Commercial of Mobinil, stated that a solution has to be put to turn Telecom Egypt into a competitor mobile operator along with controlling 45 % stake in Vodafone. Legally, TE mustn't provide mobile services in two different ways and different prices, Halim added.
