The Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) has recently released its 2012
Urgent Care Benchmarking Results. This biennial benchmarking survey
is intended as a catalyst to spark dialogue on a national basis in order
to determine what the results teach us and how we might implement them
into a larger continuous quality improvement program for urgent care
centers and industry in order to lead to enhanced outcomes and patient
Benchmarking Study Committee Chair, J. Dale Key, explains the value of
having this data available, "My desire is for UCAOA to continually
produce the most accurate and meaningful industry information possible
upon which urgent care owners and operators can rely in order to
confidently manage their practices. The importance of having this
information available to all urgent care providers, as well as to those
who supply goods and services to the industry cannot be overstated."
