Retailers Leverage New Social Gifting Application Jifiti to Engage Users In-Store
Columbus, OH, Dec 13, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Digital engagement isn't just happening through social media for retailers. Jifiti, a new smartphone app, is integrated into the in-store shopping experience through technology like barcode scanning and giftcard redemption. It's a huge hit in just its 1st few weeks after launch, and is being used at renowned retailers like Gap, Sears and Gamestop. While at retail locations, shoppers scan and share products that are instantly added to a custom wishlist.
2. Family and friends purchase gifts or chip-in for the items that are on the lists.
3. Shoppers receive an in-app notification with a giftcard number which they use when checking out with the gift.
