Deepak Cables acquires Adhunik Power Transmission from Adhunik Metaliks

Dec 08, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Deepak Cables (India) Limited has acquired 100% stake in Adhunik Power Transmission Limited (formerly Unistar Galvanisers & Fabricators), a manufacturer of transmission line towers and sub-station structures, from Adhunik Metaliks Limited. All the companies are based in India.


Deepak Cables is a manufacturer of conductor cables, transmission and distribution lines and electrical substations, while Adhunik Metaliks is a manufacture of steel products.

Announcement (November 15, 2011): Adhunik Metaliks has entered into a share purchase agreement to sell its investment in Adhunik Power.

Indcap Advisors Pvt, Ltd. acted as financial advisor to the transaction.
