TMC Announces Unified Communications Magazine, Targeting Enterprise and Contact Center Decision-Makers, Service Providers
, CT, April 5, 2007
— Today Technology Marketing Corp. (TMC) announces the launch of Unified Communications magazine.
Unified Communications magazine is devoted to educating enterprise decision makers on why and how they need to deploy unified communications (UC) solutions. Enterprises are increasingly deploying today’s UC solutions to:
• Improve employee productivity, and transform the way people communicate.
• Integrate communications into business processes.
• Simplify operations. Connect people and information more efficiently.
• Reduce capital expenditures.
The market for unified communications software and the hardware that it runs on is experiencing tremendous growth. Today’s enterprise workforce is demanding these productivity-enhancing options from their IT and telecom departments. Responding to this pressure from their staffs, decision makers at all levels are selecting and deploying solutions at a frantic pace.
Every issue of Unified Communications magazine features a comprehensive news section; case studies of successful deployments and lessons learned; interviews with leading hardware and software companies; and an ‘industry’ section, featuring analysis of important mergers and acquisition, partnerships and a Wall Street perspective on the unified communications market.
“The unified communications market is one of the fastest growing anywhere and is an essential technology enabling corporations to turbocharge their productivity,” explained Rich Tehrani, TMC president and group editor-in-chief for Unified Communications magazine.
Unified Communications magazine will be published bi-monthly in 2007, beginning with the premiere issue in July.
“I’ve never seen a better time to launch a new publication,” says Tehrani. “The Unified Communications market is ready, and we’re ready to lead it, just as we have done in the IP
communications market since 1998 with INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.”
