Polystar Reveals Partnership with Qosmos for Delivery of Mobile Data Intelligence Solutions

Polystar, a major name in the service assurance supply as well as test solutions and network monitoring for the telecom market, recently revealed its partnership with Qosmos, a leading of in-depth service quality and visibility as well as customer analytics enhancement.

In order to make the best use of state-of-the-art technology, Polystar will embed the ixEngine from Qosmos into its product portfolio, which will enable mobile service providers and network operators to receive enriched feeds. This in turn allows for analysis of big data on mobile high-speed data for better understanding of subscriber behavior and improvements in service assurance, along with client and customer experience.

Polystar is well known for its delivery of probe-based, multi-technological solutions for service quality, network performance and the management of customer experience on a real-time basis. OSIX is a probe passive system, which is capable of capturing every user data event signaling in telecom networks and data feeds in Jupiter applications. Jupiter helps to create business intelligence through customized dashboard delivery, analytical tools, reports and trending to different departments within the organization of network operator.

ixEngine from Qosmos delivers Polystar network intelligence through the identification of myriad protocols and extraction of metadata attributes for acquiring an accurate and instant picture of actual traffic of data and other real-time activities in a network. Going beyond Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) traditional technology, Qosmos deals with a network in the form of a real-time database to extract, identify and query specific data with incomparable detail and precision.

Mikael Grill, CEO of Polystar, explained that the technology from Qosmos makes it possible for the company to increase data gathering and monitoring functionality with its product portfolio. He goes on to say that this strategic partnership is bound to enhance the portfolio of Polystar through mobile aware Deep Packet Inspection.

Furthermore, Thibaut Bechetoille, CEO of Qosmos, added that by leveraging Qosmos intelligence network technology, Polystar can help operators enhance their core competency and will assist operators in big data value harness. ixEngine from Qosmos acts as the primary link in value information chain for analysis of big data in telecoms, along with extraction of data traffic detailed information in a real-time scenario. This ultimately helps to both feed solutions and sharpen the competitive edge of operators everywhere.
